Greek Lamb Burgers with Lemon Garlic Aioli and Sweet Potato Fries

A zesty Lemon Garlic Aioli tops these Greek Lamb Burgers, which are full of Mediterranean flavors. They come with crispy sweet potato fries and ground lamb that has been seasoned with oregano and cumin. This is a tasty take on the usual burger.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground lamb
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup minced red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp ground cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 burger buns
  • 1 cup sweet potato fries frozen or homemade
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1/2 tsp lemon zest
  • 1/2 tsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • Lettuce and tomato slices for garnish

Instructions:

Warm up the grill over medium-high heat

Ground lamb, breadcrumbs, minced red onion, minced garlic, dried oregano, ground cumin, salt, and pepper should all be mixed together in a bowl

Mix everything together well

Cut the lamb mixture into four equal parts and shape each one into a burger patty

The lamb burgers should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them

While the burgers are cooking, make the sweet potato fries by following the directions on the package if you are using frozen ones

Put them in the oven until they're golden brown and crispy if you're making them yourself

This is the aioli: minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh oregano should all be mixed together in a small bowl

Add pepper and salt to taste

Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Place tomato and lettuce slices on the bottom bun of your Greek Lamb Burgers, then top with a grilled lamb patty

A lot of Lemon Garlic Aioli should be spread on the top bun

Enjoy the burgers with sweet potato fries
