Trisha Yearwood's recipe gave me the idea for this delicious Banana Pudding Cake Parfait. A delicious dessert is made with layers of moist cake, rich banana pudding, fresh bananas, and whipped cream.
Ingredients:
- 1 box banana pudding mix
- 2 cups cold milk
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 3 large ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup vanilla wafers, crushed
Instructions:
Follow the directions on the package to make banana pudding
Use cold milk
Put it in the fridge to set
Follow the directions on the box to bake the yellow cake
Let it cool down, then break it up into little pieces
Put cake crumbs, whipped cream, banana pudding, mashed bananas, and crushed vanilla wafers in glasses or bowls that will be used for serving
Make more layers until the glasses are full
Add a dollop of whipped cream and some crushed vanilla wafers on top to finish
Put the parfaits in the fridge for at least an hour before you serve them
