Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- For Chocolate Ganache Icing:
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions:
Grease a 9 by 9-inch baking pan and preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius
Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over low heat
Add the cocoa powder and stir until fully incorporated
Take it off the heat and allow it to cool a little
Whisk the eggs, buttermilk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a sizable mixing bowl
In the bowl, add the cocoa-butter mixture and stir until smooth
