Cinnamon Sugar Protein Donuts - Andrea's Protein Cakery



Andrea's Protein Cakery's Cinnamon Sugar Protein Donuts are a guilt-free treat that will satisfy your sweet tooth and give you a protein boost. They are incredibly tasty and simple to prepare!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup vanilla protein powder
  • 1/4 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sweetener of your choice
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • For Cinnamon Sugar Coating:
  • 2 tbsp granulated sweetener
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or coconut oil

Instructions:

Set your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit 175 degrees Celsius and spray cooking spray in a donut pan

Protein powder, sweetener, baking powder, ground cinnamon, almond flour, coconut flour, and salt should all be combined in a big bowl

Combine the applesauce, Greek yogurt, almond milk, egg, melted coconut oil, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl

After adding the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, thoroughly mix them together

Pour the batter into each of the donut pan's cavities, filling them about two thirds of the way

A toothpick inserted into a donut should come out clean after baking for 12 to 15 minutes in a preheated oven

In a small bowl, combine the ground cinnamon and granulated sweetener to make the cinnamon sugar coating while the donuts are baking

After the donuts are done, take them out of the oven and allow them to cool for a short while in the pan

While still warm, coat each donut evenly with melted butter or coconut oil by brushing it with it before dipping it into the cinnamon sugar mixture

After coating, place the donuts on a wire rack to cool fully

Basil Mint Citrus Mojito Popsicles



This Basil Mint Citrus Mojito Popsicle is a cool take on the traditional mojito drink. They're great for cooling off on a hot day because they taste like fresh herbs and citrus. You can also add a splash of rum to make them more exciting!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 1 cup fresh mint leaves
  • Zest and juice of 2 limes
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup honey or agave syrup
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/4 cup white rum optional

Instructions:

Put basil, mint, lime zest, lemon zest, lime juice, lemon juice, honey, and water in a blender

Mix until it's smooth

Pour the mixture into the popsicle molds until they are about three quarters full

If you want to, add a little rum to each mold

Put in the popsicle sticks and freeze for at least 4 hours, or until the whole thing is frozen

Long-term use of warm water on the outside of the molds will help popsicles come out of them

Hoisin Pork and Rice Noodle Stir Fry



This recipe for stir-fry is quick and tasty, with rice noodles, tender pork, and a delicious hoisin sauce. Ideal for an incredibly tasty and filling weeknight dinner.

Ingredients:

  • 8 oz pork loin, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz rice noodles
  • 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1/4 cup chopped scallions
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/4 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Cook the rice noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside

In a small bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce and soy sauce

Set aside

In a large skillet or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat

Add the sliced pork and stir-fry until it's no longer pink, about 3-4 minutes

Remove from the skillet and set aside

In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and stir-fry the garlic and ginger for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant

Add the sliced onions and bell peppers to the skillet and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, or until they start to soften

Return the cooked pork to the skillet and pour the hoisin-soy sauce mixture over the ingredients

Stir-fry for an additional 2 minutes

Add the cooked rice noodles to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined and heated through

Season with salt and pepper to taste

Serve the Hoisin Pork and Rice Noodle Stir Fry garnished with chopped scallions, fresh cilantro, and chopped roasted peanuts

Blend until thoroughly blended

Add the boiling water little by little until the batter is smooth

It's okay that it will be thin

After filling the baking pan with batter, bake it for thirty to thirty-five minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean

Prepare the chocolate syrup glaze while the cake is baking

Melt the butter, heavy cream, corn syrup, and chocolate chips in a small saucepan over low heat

Stir until smooth and the chocolate has melted completely

After taking off the heat, whisk in the vanilla extract

When the cake is done, take it out of the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for a few minutes

Use a fork or toothpick to make holes all over the heated cake

Evenly cover the cake with the warm chocolate syrup glaze, letting it seep in

Before serving, let the cake cool fully and the glaze harden

Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet ones, making sure to mix well after each addition

If the dough is too dry, slowly add buttermilk, one tablespoon at a time, until it's just right

Make 1-inch balls out of the dough and put them on a baking sheet

Use the sugar-covered bottom of a glass to flatten each ball

You can use sprinkles and colored sugar to decorate the cookies however you like

After the oven is hot, bake for 8 to 10 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden

Let the cookies cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before moving them to a wire rack to cool all the way

Remove the water and set it aside

Add the minced garlic and cook for about one minute, until the garlic smells good

Add the dried oregano, basil, and marinara sauce and mix well

Add pepper and salt to taste

For 5 minutes, let it cook

Toss the cooked pasta in the pan with the sauce until it's all covered

Put some cooking spray on a baking dish and put half of the pasta mixture in it

On top of the pasta, sprinkle half of each cheese

Put the rest of the pasta mixture on top and top that with the rest of the cheese

Place the baking dish in a hot oven and cover it with aluminum foil

Bake for 20 minutes

Take off the foil and bake for another 10 minutes, or until the cheese melts and starts to bubble

Before serving, sprinkle with fresh basil leaves

Cut the lamb mixture into four equal parts and shape each one into a burger patty

The lamb burgers should be cooked for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them

While the burgers are cooking, make the sweet potato fries by following the directions on the package if you are using frozen ones

Put them in the oven until they're golden brown and crispy if you're making them yourself

This is the aioli: minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and fresh oregano should all be mixed together in a small bowl

Add pepper and salt to taste

Put the burger buns on the grill and toast them for one minute, or until they get a little brown

Place tomato and lettuce slices on the bottom bun of your Greek Lamb Burgers, then top with a grilled lamb patty

To temper the eggs, slowly whisk in about a cup of the hot cream mixture

While stirring all the time, pour the egg mixture back into the saucepan with the rest of the cream mixture

After you add the espresso and cocoa powder, cook for about 5 minutes, or until the mixture gets a little thicker

Take the pan off the heat and add the coffee liqueur and vanilla extract

Wait until it's cool enough to touch

After the mixture has cooled, put it in an ice cream maker and churn it according to the machine's directions

Add the chocolate chips, mascarpone cheese, and chopped ladyfinger cookies in the last few minutes of churning

Move the churned ice cream to a container that can go in the freezer

Cover it and freeze it for at least 4 hours or overnight, until it is firm

Put grilled shrimp, peanuts, and avocado slices on top of the salad
